The Sun’ll Come Out Tomorrow

(Ooops!  Song interlude)

I’m just wondering when “tomorrow” will be.  Punxsutawney Phil came out of his burrow on February 2nd and did not see his shadow.  According to folklore, that means we’ll have an early spring.  It was on the news — it must be true!

Well, spring isn’t here yet.  This is what my front yard looked like yesterday evening. (I know – you’re tired of seeing this particular view, but it’s the view I can get from inside the front door.  I do not want to go outside any more than I absolutely have to!)

Here’s what my front yard looks like this morning.  (I’m not going out in that!)

It’s still snowing.  And the windchill is -15 degrees (yes, that’s a minus).  (Sigh. . .)

Punxsutawney Phil has a lot of explaining to do.  I bet he’s warm and comfy and enjoying a gourmet meal of grubby worm souffle and insect wine.  He gets his 15 minutes of fame in front of the television cameras and then forgets about his promise!

Tomorrow!!  Where are you?!?!?!??

Good Morning Dawn….I looked at the first pic and thought things are looking better.
Then I saw the second and thought no they aren’t.
I have spent half the night tossing and turning and drenched in perspiration!
Have just read your previous post…your Mom sounds like a honey!
