Waiting
Waiting for phone calls to be returned.
Waiting for assessment by psychiatrist and counselor.
Waiting for assessment by doctors and nurses.
Waiting for assessment by Adult Protective Services.
Waiting for assessment by Veterans Affairs.
Waiting for next scheduled visit to Dad.
Waiting for continuing recovery from surgery for Mom.
Waiting to stay in my own home again.
Waiting for the next shoe to drop.
Waiting for help.
Waiting. . .
Waiting. . .
Waiting. . .

waiting is hard.
lovely sentiments expressed here,
love your arts!
🙂
Patience is fine, but hard when loved ones are involved. Have faith, Dawn.
So very true, adee! Holding on to faith. 🙂
Oh Dear Grandawn….this granny is sending you a BIG granny hug. Hang in there.
I wish I were closer; I’d make you something comforting to eat, it’s all I know how to do. You’re in my thoughts.
Waiting makes one feel so helpless and that is not a feeling that I enjoy. Its like putting your fate in the hands of other people and becoming a spectator in your own life…. Hang in there Grandawn… no matter how dark it gets – somewhere somehow life always has the most incredible way of balancing the scales again. ((((((hug))))))
Thank you, lyndatjie. You’re right about the helpless feeling – and the scales. Thanks for the biggggg hug. 🙂
There is nothing worse than the “waiting”….since nothing can be done…you just wait…here’s hoping you soon have a few answers. Cheers!
Thank you, slpmartin. Answers would be good. 🙂
I hope that patience is your strong suit . . . looks like you need a huge dose of it right now.
I used to think I had a lot of patience. I’m not so sure anymore. 🙂
