I love to write, and I love to take pictures.  The Cotton Wife introduced me to a free photo editor in a discussion thread for a photo contest hosted by Pioneer Woman, and I’ve been playing around with it.  It’s called Photoscape.

One thing I’ve had fun with is the Object area where I can add things to my photos.  Playing with this section led me to an idea to combine writing and pictures – photo cartoons, if you will – ta da!  I’ll be posting them periodically.

I call them FunFauxFoto©.

Fun – well – because I think they’re fun, and I hope you will think so too.

Faux – because I’m definitely not a professional photographer, these are modified photos, and they’re actually more cartoons than official photographs.

Foto – I want it to start with an “F” to go with Fun and Faux – so I changed the spelling – like I alter the photographs.

So. . .  here is my first FunFauxFoto©.

I hope you enjoy!

What a brilliant idea! I’ve been using Photoscape to add borders to photo’s but haven’t really explored everything.
Love the blue hair though 🙂
